The camp was overall quite well organised and went smoothly. :) Well done camp committee and the relevant people... :)
Love my group! Thanks ENOCH! (my group) for making everything so colourful!!! I want to thank each and every member of my group: Adelyn, Pearlyn, Justin Chang, Darren, Rennes, Bee Huang, Gail, Charlene, Joshua Yap, for working so hard as a team, and we WILL, and ALWAYS WILL BE everlasting ENOCH! YAY!!! :D I'm really encouraged by what some of you (in my team) said, "The winning and points doesn't count. Even if we don't win, IT'S OKAY! As what is important is the SPIRIT!" YES KEEP THE ENOCH SPIRIT BURNING!!! :) from your MISS ENOCH :D HAHA!!!
Met at 9am on the first day for admin stuff in church. Organised group and played some intra-group games. Was challenging initially, but with everyone's help, everything was just AWESOME! Later camp inter-group games, followed by lunch. Then off to the campsite, SINGAPORE VISION FARM!!!
My dorm mates were mainly people in my group: ADEE, PEARLYN, RENNES, GAIL, BEE HUANG! :D AWESOME PEOPLE! :) The dorm was in the attic and it was REAL COOL! :D We headed for some games (wet ones) after unpacking. Message and altar call in the night, and to me, this part was a little terrifying. Debrief. SLEEPING. Slept against the wall:) beside ADEE! :D
MORNING! Who is the latest to arise??? ADEE! Oh mann, Rennes alarm... rang SO LOUD that it woke people from other dorms, but fortunately, she herself woke up. :p haha. 5BX was next. Was quite funny, but to me, not really of much of the exercise sort. HAH! :p GAH HAH! Some butt bumping exercises mainly. :p opps. ELLEL ministry. Then... Games. Games were FUN! YAY! many wet games too. :)I bathed in the makeshit toilet. ARGH. There were so many, tons of mosquitoes in the toilet cubicle and the water was like almost nothing. You had to stick your face to the dirty toilet wall to bathe in the ultra little water dripping out from the shower head. :/ ADEE was like , "let's quickly bathe and get changed, later the mosquitoes come and bite us!"
Dinner then message. Debrief and SLEEP!
MORNING AGAIN! again. ADEE was the latest to wake up! HAHA. :p Breakfast was after 5BX. Oh and the 5BX was totally weird. Message afetr breakfast. Games was organised in an AMAZING RACE form. Station games. It was enjoyable! :) The last game was a REAL wet game. But as I was a model (some dress up stuff) I didn't know why I didn't get wet AT ALL!!! But I was so itchy and wanted to rinse my leggies, Zeng Guang, sprayed me from top to toe!!!!!!!! EVIL PERSON! And so... I was DRENCHED from head to toe. -_- Bathing was next, and I didn't want to go back to the makeshift toilet. While waiting for our turns, Lee Jing and I wrote our encouragement cards!!! :) Dinner was after that and then message. The last message for the camp. :( The message was about the holyspirit. I was really interested in it, as I felt I have not known enough and did not understand it deep enough as well. I had quite a munber of questions in mind at that time, and asked ADEE a few of them. Then came the altar call... Pastor Chris Hope called fro the people who wanted to be baptised in the holyspirit and at the same time, willing to receive the gift of tongues. I WAS! I really WAS! But as I went forward, my heart started to palpitate really fast! Okay, I was afraid, and held back. Somehow, one part of me wanted to run back to my seat at the back, and the other part of me wanted to stay. I believed that was Satan's attack. That night was really, really pressurising for me. And even now, I still feel a little pressurised. BUt I believe, I will get over that feeling soon. Mann, but it was a very dissapointing night for me and yup, stressful (in a sense). However, I BELIEVE now that, the holyspirit will really enter, when we are ready. After the message and everything else, ADEE and I went up to our dorm and talked more about the message and my doubts and I am really very VERY THANKFUL to Adelyn for clarifying all my doubts and explaining reason into ne. :) THANK YOU!
Then, we went down to have SUPPER, but there was only CHIPS! AHHA, I got fatter that night. :p After uploading some pics from the camera, we went to sleep! :)
Morning came fast and everyone was very tired. :p Therewas NO 5BX and it was breakfast straight... our last meal in this campsite. :( Then quiet time. I felt QT was GREAT! I was glad the members were open, and did ask lots of questions during this short period of time. :) How I wished QT that day was longer, as by explaning to the other members, I also learn more! :)
CLEAN UP!!!! and then, BACK to church by bus!!! Had much fun with LEE JING on the bus!!! :)
In all, I felt that this camp would have been better, if I had opened up more.
Can't wait fro service and meeting my group members on SAT!!! :) :D
