On the bus: (An amazing little boy, about 2 yrs old plus -- I think, and a adorable mother!) :) The little boy was SO CUTE!!!! :) I could not help but smile at Him... :) His mother was very nice to him too, and even kneeled down in the bus to talk to him the whole journey!!! The little boy could speak quite fluent ENGLISH! AMAZING!!! He's like so young! He seems to know A LOT! His mother made him talk to me.. :) He's so cute and I'm missing him actually... :(
On the train: I was in the train towards the North East line... I saw a small boy again, but he was about 3 years old... HIs mother was talking to him, in Hokkien... HE ANSWERED IN HOKKIEN!!! AND IT WAS FLUENT, VERY FLUENT HOKKIEN!!! :o Even an old granny, looked at him with full admiartion and nodded her head in apraisal! I too, pei fu him!!!
Hence, nowadays, many think that most younger people in this new generation, don't know how to speak dialects... BUT LOOK! IT'S UNTRUE! HAHAHA... I'm just AMAZED!!! :)
