Jubilate was great yesterday, but maybe just a little too long... :p STRINGS' performance was FANTASTIC! ENCORE! hehe... :) I left school very early after my Social Studies test from 7.35 to around 9.20am. Yep, and the test was okay just a little too little time... :x Then we headed to Republic Polytechnic-- our Jubilate concert venue to practise...
The dressing room was the same as last year's, hahax... a sense of familarity... :) By the way, this was also our SYF venue... :x Yea, and we settled everything down and took many pictures! :) Soon, we went fpr our first practise up the stage, Mrs Tham did not agree to letting us play our encore piece if we didnt memorise it! Sigh... she said that she didnt want us to have stands as it would take up more time to set up... :/ And so we only could play that piece (peter hope) if we memorise it by TODAY!!! BUT, hello??? WE only started learning that piece last FRI??!! So after that practise, everyone was really hardworking and really practised very hard... I memorised it then! :)
Then it was lunch time... Lunch was not very nice though... but it was edible though.. the food was super oily... :( Yea, it was bee hoon. After lunch, we still lots of time and so May, Jasmine, Amanda, Isobel and I went to buy bubble tea!!! All of them drank oreo ice blend except Amanda and me. Amanda drank champagne grape while me -- strawberry milk tea! :) It was nice! :) Then, at 1.50pm was our next practise on stage, but this time was full dress rehersal. Then Amanda got quite sick... probably from the bubble tea... :( poor thing...
WE COULD PLAY THE ENCORE PIECE!!! YAY!!! :) :) :) Happie happy Happpiiieee!!! So soon, after some time, we dinner. YES, and IT WAS AT 4 plus... how do you expect me EAT??? I didnt eat almost everything though... sry... wasting food... :p
JUBILATE!!! our performance was at 8.30pm. MEGAN SOH MEI FEN came!!! :) YAY!!! THANK YOU!!! Yep, and my family... :) VERY SOON AFTER... was srtings! It was quite fun being under the spotlight again... :) (I played a wrong note though... opps :x) then after the performance, I went to join my family after the interval break... :) I sat throughout the whole performance after that. It was just GREAT! :) :) :) I feel so proud of St. Nicks!!! :) Then after the whole concert, we sent Megan back home and then headed home... :) I was so tired, really tired... I slept at 1am in the end..
