hahax... My group won thrid overall... Go Corinthians! Hahax... I am already missing camp now... :x
Okay, I came late for the camp on the 10 Dec... (slightly late -- 30 min) My group members in my group were: Alicia choo, Hannah Hia, Glenn, Rennes, Hai Xin, Zhi Ying, Dominic, Rui Jie, leader: Yong Quan, asst. leader: Jessica, and me! Yep so at around 1.15pm, everyone boarded the bus. I sat with Alicia, behind me Jessica and Hannah and at the other side of me Joyce... I didn't get motion sickness on the bus! YAY!!! Hahax, yeah and we reached Sembawang Campsite. The campsite was not bad... Our dorms even had beds!!! (Double decker) So, Hannah, Alicia and I slept on the upper decker... in a row... Hahax... So we could walk on each others' bed easily. Some beds did not have ladders, like mine. But I went up my bed without ladder and came down by Alicia's bed ladder... haha. Yep, and then we played group bonding games. My group had a lot of boys.. :( But luckily the girls in my group are al really close to me... hehe. :) Yarh, after that we played some other games on the field... my favourite was captain's ball!!! I wanna play now... hehe. Hannah, Alicia and I were the first to bathe in the whole campsite... the toilet was like ours!!! I could not lock my toilet door, Petrina held it for me... opps... We had a message by Pastor Benjamin Chew (really good). Alicia even enjoyed it too! :) I went up for the alter call. Sleeping was great! the hed was nice and the fan did blow at me... haha. Second day: Good too! :D It was wet games! Not really -- as it rained. My group played dog and bone with Tessalonians. we Won them by a lot! :) THis game was quite fun but wet and soapy... we had to crawl on the grass to grab the water bomb with soap water stored in it... quite gross!!! After bathing ( we were the first again!), we went for the message again. Alicia kind of accepted christ that day. But she was still a little scared and unsure. Its okay... :) I'll still continue to pray about that! I did not sleep well! I got butt ache when I woke up... maybe cos the whole night I didn't move at all. Third day: Dirty games!!! YUCK! I participated in a game in which I had to really dip my long hair into a pail of water to fill a water bottle. Quite gross and I was but by the blade of the grass... AW!!! :( But, the game was still fun larh... After some other games, we went to bathe. we were again the first batch to bathe...:) hehe. I love bathing... Hahax... Yep and then it was worship again. the worship that day was exceptionally long cos it was prayer and praise concert. It was quite good. but I could see that Alicia's legs were super tired of standing... hehe! :x Last day was also FUN! The most fun was the treasure hunt. we had to find the pieces of paper by colour of our balloons. My group's colour was pink. Nice colour... purple better... hehe. But the hardest part was that we had to walk around with a balloon tied to our ankle. that balloon represented our life. Anyone can pop it... and I was indeed scared of balloons! NO! Although I am not sure which group won, but I was very sure that my group did very well! ;) WELL DONE CORINTHIANS! :) Later we packed all our stuff to get ready to go back to my church. When we reached, we placed our stuff in the classrooms and later we also played some games. Hannah, Alicia and I were geing anti-social then... opps hahax. but Joash told us to join his group in the games... so we did. :) Later we had lunch... (I hated meals... It was too much to finish -- Glen was like asking me... Eh... do you have eating disorder? And I was like NO!) Yep and after that was street envangelism in Vivo. It was scary.. I was really scared and I dunno why I just cried... the thought of it made me feel very scared... Jia en and jessica prayed for me... thanks mann... My group was Glenn, Haixin, dominic, alicia and I. sigh... Alicia and I were very scared initially, but later we warmed up. She we requested to asplit up with the boys... YAY!!! but Haixin followed us!!! Okay I know he did it for our good... but we really didn't feel comfortable with him there!!! He was like telling me... I need to protect you... I was in the verge of puking... okay sry mann. but serious! I finally managed to escape... PHEW! we managed to get more than 2 people to come for the MUSICAL! YAY!!! Feeling ACCOMPLISHED... :) We ended the camp with service. An evangelistic service... Alicia choo and I did not manage to invite any of our friends... but it is okay... another time then! :) :) :) we were like begging Alicia ho!!! :P Okay and service felt very tiring... cos we were all super drained and tired out. I was on the verge of dozing off... Later after the whole camp, my mum, sister and I took MRT back. We went to Heartland Mall to eat Japanese food. YAY!!! A good meal... finally... I practically didn't finish any meal in the camp! :x
