Great Eastern Marathon
Date : Sunday, October 26, 2008
Today, I went for the Great Eastern Marathon in the morning. I ran 5km as I was underaged for the 10 km race. It was quite crowdeed... but i felt that it was really a great experience... I ran by myself-- no company. Alicia Choo couldn't make it as she was coughing... The first km was very hard to run as it was very very very packed! I had to run really slowly... Later then I picked up my speed. there was only one water point -- 2.5km mark. It was quite easy though. I didn't stop!!! =) It wasn't very tiring either... considering the fact that I only trained up to 3km... hehe. =) I took 33 minutes in all... my aim was less than 30 min, but due to the jam at the first few km and the water point... I was slowed down. =( Nevermind! I still had fun... after that, I went to the club to meet my family and also bathe there. Then we went to church together. Later for lunch, we went back to the club and I ate GRILLED FISH FILLET! YUMMY!!! =) Later, I am going to play games with my family! YAY! And we might be going out to Ikea... Yippee! =) Tomorrow... I might be going to watch High School Musical 3 withmy family...
