Passion Run - 10km

Date : Sunday, June 8, 2008

Today, I did not go to church as I went for PASSION RUN - 10km at East Coast in the morning. The race started at 8.30am. My dad ran with me and also some other churh people that I knew like: Aunty Catherine Leong, Aunty Katherine Lim, Uncle Lawrence, Uncle Chwee Peng and Uncle Seng Lu (don't really know him actually). Yeah, it was really tough as IO did not really train very hard for tis particular run. I only trained up till 5.11km... :x At the 5 km mark, I was drained... I slowed down so much!!! At first, Aunty Cat and Uncle Lawrence were both in front of me. Aunty Kat and Uncle Chwee Peng were both behind me. I ran really, really fast up till the 3km mark, I started to slow down a little. Initially, my dad and I were ahead of everyone, but becos of me, (I slowed down yeah...), Aunty Cat and Uncle Lawrence finished around 5 to 10 min before me. (More like 10min...) I ran in the finishing line with my dad. We were third in the group. 1st- Aunty Cat + Uncle Lawrence 2nd- Uncle Seng Lu 3rd- My dad and I :) 4th- Aunty Kat + Uncle Chwee Peng. It was an accomplishment though. :) 10 km!!! I finished it!!! Yeah, and I saw Janice Lim (from church) along the way! She was a favilitator as her school was there to help out in the run. :) My timing was not very good though, but I improved from the last time. Considering the fact that I did not even train till 6km... My timing was 1.17min. (around there) :):):):) My legs are so aching now... dying... :x :p
