VIOLA

Today, I went for tuition and then I did some work at home... the chinese boilogy book thing. Design like xiao... Then I went to buy a Viola!!! First, I went to Waterloo Street to see. The violas are handmade. The lowest price is $1200. I actually ordered one. Then, I remembered that May told me that she bought her viola at Meridian Hotel, the shop next to it, at $800. So after that, we headed to Meridian area, which was not very far away. Soon, we found the viola shop and it was called : Music Essential. I looked through the violas and the shop owner let me try some, also with different bow types. He let me try the violas of a cheap range to the more costly ones. I finally found one that I think was good and I liked. And that was like... $1500. OKay, BEYOND BUDGET!!! My dad asked the shop owner, who was his army friend, if he could give a special price and he did!!! 20% off!!! That was so cool... I also bought a shoulder rest. The rosin that they gave me was like plastic stuff, black in colour. He also gave me better strings and a better bow than the one he normally gives, the Fibre glass one. He said the expensive wooden one that he gave me was worth $400, and the Fibre Glass was cheap. HAhax!!! I am so fortunate. THere is a cute dog in the shop. It is a West Highland White Terrier, It is so adorable. When the owner tells him to sit she would, and when he says "BANG!!" he would play dead. Guess what her name is... It is Heidi!!! I was like so surprised that it was HEIDI!!! Haha!!! I knew it when the owner called HEIDI very loudly and I thought he was calling me. Dunno how he knows my name... My viola is kind of golden in colour... Quite nice! :) We ate at the food court in Meridian for dinner. I ate SOBA!!! And STRAWBERRY WITH ALOE VERA, for desert. Yay!!! :) Then we went home.
Yeah and in school on Friday, my class had to vote for Fiesta items. One food and one game stall. We wrote each of our groups proposal. And guess what??? My group's proposal for both games and food stall were voted and taken to be the final choice!!! CONGRATS: Sharon, Erina, Esther, Alicia Ho, Megan and ME!!! HAHA!!! :) LOL...
