Bird Incident in school...

Today in school, our school had a 75th aniversary mass during assembly and that included both the primary and secondary girls. So crowded mannn... The mass service was quite long... the songs were quite nice, more like the hymns. :) Then the priest said that we had to spread out our wings and fly. We mut have our own set of eagles wings and dart out! Then he let free 2 birds that were kept in a cage that he brought along. The birds did not really want to come out as they probably got used to the environment inside the cage, protected. They were knid of forced to fly out as the priest had to dismantle the whole cage and push the little bird to fly out of the cage. Then, the first bird flew out and landed on the ground. It looked quite weak... But it flew lowly around the school field. The other took a much longer time to fly out. And soon, it too, flew out and this time, the bird flew really high and swoop down to one of the trees planted in my school. When the priest started to talk again... we heard the shrill screams coming from the primary girls and also the sec ones. We turned towards that direction and the digusting and DEVASTATING sight took me aback! What we saw was a huge crow eating up the bird that the priest set free. Some girls started to cry. I was appalled by the scene I saw and I couldn't believe my eyes... Oh my goodness gracious!!! TERRIFYING... :( I felt really sad for the poor bird... REALLY, REALLY SAD... My heart was like breaking... How could this happen... The brothers of the priest immediately went towards the other bird which was still on the grass lazing around. They wanted to catch it back and put it in the cage. Mr Soh Jun Wei and Ms Susan Lim also helped. I did not want to see it anymore... At lat, they caught it back. Phew!!!
When we wemt back to class, every teacher kept asking us if we were really traumatised by the bird incident. My whole class was...
