MARATHON!

Date : Monday, December 3, 2007

Hey, guess what! I went for my marathon yesterday and completed it! Yeah, it was 10km and I took 1 hour 20 min! Ha ha! Don't know if it is considered short or long time... Anyway, my muscles are like so aching... This morning I cannot even stand up straight! Ha ha. OKay, ya, in the run, my knee was really painful. So, I went for medical help and put some deep heat cream. It was much, much better. At the 7km mark, my two legs were as heavy as stones!!! I had a hard time to perserve... Along the way, there were water points which I stopped to drink water and also to take a short break. I was elated and relieved when I crossed the finishing line! The addidas ppl requested for my dad and I, to take a picture with our medals on together! Oh ya, by the way, my dad ran with me! He had to run at my slower pace and start at the ladies' time! Thanks daddy! My family had a scrumptious lunch yesterday.... It was indeed a really good experience and a fabulous day. We watched three movies yesterday too! Partly to kind of celebrate! We watch fantastic 4 part 2: The return of the silvr surfer, Ratatouille and High School Musical 2! Yeah!!! It was great!
